NeurodinamicAtlas

Nerve entrapments: a 3D anatomical atlas

An educational atlas of the places where the peripheral nerves of the upper and lower limbs pass through osteofibrous tunnels, muscular arcades or fascial planes and may be compressed. Each site has its 3D anatomical plate, the structures that bound it, an ultrasound landmark, the evidence that describes it and the neurodynamic test that loads that nerve. It is educational material and does not replace clinical assessment.

Upper limb

Median nerve: carpal tunnel and pronator

Ulnar nerve: cubital tunnel and Guyon's canal

Radial nerve: arcade of Frohse and superficial branch

Lower limb

Sciatic nerve: deep gluteal space and ischial region

Tibial nerve: soleal arch and tarsal tunnel

Fibular nerve: fibular neck, ankle and leg

Femoral nerve: inguinal ligament and iliac compartment

Saphenous nerve: adductor canal and infrapatellar branch

Sural nerve: lateral retromalleolar region

Posterior femoral cutaneous nerve: infragluteal region

Obturator nerve: obturator canal and adductor planes
