SLR (straight leg raise) test
The SLR raises the leg by hip flexion with the knee extended and the ankle neutral, in supine. It is the basis of the variants that load the sciatic pathway and its tibial and fibular branches; the viewer shows about 70° of hip flexion.

- Lie face up with the head neutral, the pelvis resting on the couch and both knees extended. Ankle in a neutral position.
- End position
- The tested leg is raised by hip flexion, with the knee extended and the ankle neutral. The viewer shows about 70° of hip flexion.
